When I discovered the leg I knew I was in for a really bad day

When I discovered the leg, I know I was in for a really bad day. This time it was not only covered with blood but also bits of the flag. I was not even thinking of asking the question to god , why do people fight. Other days I could find faces or hands and hence could find watches, bracelets, necklaces, diamonds but who wears something on a leg. I went ahead just to find more legs burried in mud. This was the only way to survive in this bombed city where you had lost you identity. I was just looking through for more and boom.

My character finds an egg

From the day he was born he always used to wonder why is the sky white? Why does everyone have to swim to go from one place to another? Sick of the morning breakfast of toast and white balls he starts swimming towards the hot lava, the only source of energy for everyone. His friends were planning to bake cookies today. Then they all decided to go for a swim. This time they went south and long. Suddenly his hands touched something. It was more like the surface of the white balls he had for breakfast. All of them started swimming along the surface and after a long tiring 3 zeptomes they reached a point where the surface had covered them from all sides except south. He was surprised how can one go south and find south as the only way out. Confused they put on their infrared cameras, track the lava and return back. There sitting in the shade of one of the lumps enjoying his delicious cookies it struck him. He had found THE EGG.

PS: Zeptome: A new unit of time I created.
Everybody is in the egg and the egg is their world if anybody missed that.

The unseen snake

Another tiring day at the Kanha National Park and wanted to go the bathroom. I went inside thinking it was nice to see the tigers but was upset not to spot a snake. I was about to latch the door when I saw something slimy and black. I stepped back, it was a real snake. Neither I could open the door as it may fall nor could I close it. I had a good look at it, satisfied and terrified at the same time. I pulled the door in one clean motion and ran off shouting snake snake.

It was a mint green kind of day

It was a mint green kind of day. One might wonder if the sunlight turned green but no the sun was bright and out. The carts were neatly lined up on the street, just enough to add to the organised market. Fresh with the look of some new stores and there I saw my most loyal customer coming. With a smile on his face and his hands swinging I knew I was going to make a big sale today. But he passed by as if the bees had decided to skip a flower. The street changed, carts rolled away, the sun set and the wind took away the nice scent. I was about to leave, cleaning up as I usually do but today I hardly had anything to clean. In the distance I saw someone coming. Could not make out with my old eyes but it was her. She came closer cutting the aair with her arms and stood right in from of me and said, " some mint please"
